Steganos Security Suite 6 and the product's standalone module, Steganos Safe 6, are now avalable the U.S.

Among other enhancements, both encryption products can now encrypt and store up to 128 GB of data in the Safe in real-time, thus enabling users to securely archive digital photo albums, scrapbooks and other large, confidential data files. Users can make the safe disappear from public view with just one mouse click. The previous generation of Steganos' encryption products held up to 4.8 GB of data in the Safe.

Steganos Security Suite 6 also offers the following new features and enhancements:

* Internet Trace Destructor 6.5: The latest version of Internet Trace Destructor now destroys 97 different traces of users' PC and Internet activities, including from Kazaa, Acrobat Reader, Mozilla and others.

* Deep Cleaning Shredder: This new function of the existing Steganos Shredder thoroughly cleans up the hard drive, removing any remnants of data that previously were deleted by other means.

* Prevention of Unsafe Passwords: The software contains a multilingual dictionary of nearly a half million commonly used words, which are unsafe to use as passwords.

Steganos Safe 6 is designed for users who are exclusively concerned with data encryption on laptops and PCs. Besides the enhanced storage capacity of 128 GB, it features protection from unsafe password usage, the Deep Cleaning Shredder, and Automatic Crash Protection.

Steganos Security Suite 6 can be downloaded for $59.95, while Steganos Safe 6 costs $24.95 for electronic purchase. Boxed versions of the products cost $69.95 for Steganos Security Suite and $29.95 for Steganos Safe, plus delivery costs. Free 30-day evaluation versions of both products are also available for download. Customers who wish to upgrade from version five to version six of Steganos Security Suite can download the update for $49.95.
