The VPM Gateway allows IT administrators to monitor and actively manage heterogeneous IT infrastructure and applications from anywhere in the world as if they were on-site. Features of the VPM gateway include:

Highly secure SSL-based Virtual Private Management (VPM) access to sites. This allows site information to be shared safely with off-site administrators and for critical actions to be initiated externally to the site without modifying firewall rules - and without deploying a costly and awkward IPSec-based VPN just for management traffic. Via the NetEnrich VPM Gateway, the following functions can be performed securely and remotely: o Notification upon a change of health status of the monitored devices, or other critical events. o Access to syslog and other critical site information. o Viewing of the same screen as a user calling in for help, and control of their keyboard and mouse input to investigate issues or guide them through application usage and configuration issues. For nominally healthy machines this can be achieved in-band via MS RDP, VNC, Telnet or SSH. For infected or stalled machines, this can be achieved by taking over control of the Serial, Keyboard, Mouse, Video, and USB ports of the machine with a VPM Hard Controller. o Re-start of machines into normal or safe mode. o Loading of new software, updates, and patches. o Build of new machines or re-build of existing machines from bare metal. o Control of all network devices using both in-band and serial interfaces.
